The Disaster Research Days (DRD26), initiated by the DCNA and one of Europe’s leading conferences on disaster research, resilience, and crisis management, will take place in Munich for the first time from November 24-26, 2026. The event brings together international researchers, policymakers, risk managers, and other experts, and, through keynote speeches and panel discussions, provides an important platform for reducing disaster risks. DRD26 is being organized jointly with the Bundeswehr University Munich, the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior, and the European Commission.
