The DCNA expert groups serve as a platform for continuous and ongoing networking and cooperation among their members. They facilitate access to expertise, models, tools, and research approaches, and support the efficient coordination of excellent, cutting-edge, and internationally competitive activities in security and disaster research.
Currently, six permanent expert groups have been established within the DCNA:
Adhoc expert groups
In addition, ad-hoc expert groups are set up as needed for specific or current topics in order to flexibly and purposefully pool interdisciplinary expertise and develop solutions in the short term.
