Disaster Competence Network Austria (DCNA) acts as a link between scientific research and practitioners in crisis and disaster management. Through knowledge and technology transfer, findings from basic research are implemented and directed to those interested in security and disaster research in Austria and beyond.

We're happy to announce a new project in the DCNA: MEASURE is a KIRAS project that started in November. It aims at developing an innovative evaluation tool that supports the evaluation of exercises through a wide variety of measurement sensors and the analysis of key performance indicators. The kick-off event took place in November at the AIT in Vienna.
On October 26, we exhibited as part of the open house of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. We were available to visitors for questions about security and disaster research.
