At the beginning of this year, HEUREKA was launched - a project co-financed by the EU to connect network civil protection experts in Europe and the Middle East. In addition to knowledge transfer, the aim is to improve coordination, cooperation, compatibility, and complementarity between experts in neighboring countries in the Middle East.
After Horizon 2020, the next European funding program has launched: Horizon Europe, with a total budget of EUR 95.5 million for the years 2021-2027, the most important funding program for research in innovation in the European Union. As in the previous program, great importance is attached to international cooperation in R&D and innovation projects.
On July 6th, 2021, various sensor tests took place in the research center of the Montan University Leoben "Zentrum am Berg" on Erzberg in Styria as part of the RoboMOLE and RoboNav projects.
