DCNA's Science Plan specifically defines research questions in the field of disaster protection. It serves as a strategic guideline for developing scientific findings in the coming years that focus on current and future challenges in disaster management – ​​from prevention and crisis management to reconstruction. The document was developed together with representatives from around 40 institutions in academia, emergency response and politics. The first version of the document was presented at the Disaster Research Days 2024.
