Clemens Könczöl, a work and organizational psychologist, focuses on the human factor in safety-critical areas. He completed his psychology studies at the University of Graz and has since conducted numerous research projects in various fields, including aviation, medicine, robotics, the automotive industry, and emergency response organizations, using simulators, laboratory techniques, and field studies.
His research focuses on human factors such as human error, strain, and stress, and their impact on safety in the workplace and organizations, human-machine interaction, and automation. He also lectures on psychological and psychophysiological research methods. Clemens Könczöl is a member of the board of the Professional Association of Psychologists in Styria and a board member of the Austrian Association for Aviation Psychology.
